Daily Create 1145 : Select 5 emojis and use them as a prompt for a unique story. Screenshot your emojis and add link to your story below. If you are on Twitter then you can emojinate in one click!
I have seen this done in writing workshop at the elementary level. It really is a great way to prompt writing and get the thought process going. I chose to go with the first set of emoji that came up and they actually did pull into a decent story of what was actually going on at the time.
I went to the site, selected the first 5 icons by clicking the buttons. I then put them into a story. Took a screen shot of the completed story and uploaded it to Flickr.
A great daily create creative starter.
Your emoji story is perfect! LOVE it!
This was such a cute concept! The story was adorable as well!
I love your emoji story! It’s been so true for me during the last few weeks of audio!
I was about to comment on your daily create and then read Lesya’s comment lol Im curious… whats the story behind digital mustard? Anyways, great story. its funny to see where peoples imaginations take them. Good work!
Thanks for the comment and interest.
My Dad used the phrase “can’t cut the mustard” so I looked it up to find out where it came from –
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Doesn%27t+Cut+the+Mustard
then when trying to figure out what the blog name should be I decided it was Digital Mustard I was trying to cut…….this version is actually my second with the name – decided to keep it as it seemed to be this project and time it was waiting to become. 🙂
I came to make a comment about your Daily Create but I saw your background! I love that you’ve done a mustard theme for your whole blog- it really ties everything together.
Thanks- sometimes a crazy idea actually pulls together if you go with it. 🙂 Nice to know it does seem like there was some thought to the fun of creating it. I even created an icon that should show up on the URL bar when you are on the site. WordPress gives you a lot of options to attend to details.
